91 crx si vtec turbo 1200$ indiana

i have for sale my 5 speed d16z6 swapped turbocharged 91 crx si with 227k on the body and who knows on the motor.
the engine just locked up as i was cruising 55 mph on 31 south past lakeville on my way to pick up an engine for another car i am building, i have no idea why, the car had oil pressure and has been running great with this engine/turbo combo for a year.. its been my daily driver since last april, so this happened completely, totally out of the blue, and i just dont care enough about hondas to want to put another engine in it.
but, if you do, you can probably just throw a d series bottom end in it and it will be awesome. maybe it doesnt even need that much. i have no idea and no intention of looking since my garage is full and i have another project going on at the moment. ******EDIT***** i pulled the timing belt and valve cover a little bit ago and confirmed that the top end is still good, it is definitely something in the bottom that gave out. ***edit again*** had some time last night so i dropped the oil pan and #1 rod gave out, see pic 3. find yourself a 50$ d series short block, drop it in, and go. its got arp headstuds and a nice MLS gasket so you probably wont need to spend any money there either.

almost brand new nice sumitomo front tires
the car has almost no structural or undercarriage rust whatsoever, just normal rear fender honda rot. everything works, from the rear wiper to the sunroof to the heater. there are dents, its been rattle canned flat black, the drivers side door is annoying as hell, there is no rear interior, there is no muffler on a 2.5 inch flexpipe exhaust, the front fascia is banged up.... it is not a nice looking car, it is a mad max rat car, but it is solid as hell where it matters and pulls hard. the suspension is very tight, the steering is tight, the tires are very grippy brand new sumitomos, and the turbo and 1 wire vtec setup is well implemented and proven through an entire season of driving. add any d series bottom end and go.
this isnt a rice bucket, its an all go no show cheap turbo car.
i will trade straight up for something i can use as a daily driver. has to be fully functional right now, not needing *anything* major... i already have enough projects.
