o2 sensor question
Anypne can help me out i have 04 civic si hatch today came out check engine light i put the scanner on it and said 02 heater sensor malfuntion ( bank 1 OF 1).which one is the first or second o2 sensor thanks for your help

that's the primary o2 sensor...
take it out, check it, put it back in, pull the ecu fuse or use the obd2 reader/scanner to erase the code, do a idle relearn...if it comes on again then you have a faulty primary o2 sensor...you can get a oem desno from amazon.com for $164.98

My problem was kinda similar to yours. My EP had a code P0134, primary o2 sensor no activity. Checked with a obd2 scanner and it shows little voltage still passing through. I took it off and it still looked okay. Erased the check engine light code, idle relearn and the check engine light code came back on again P0134. I then went on line searching for a OEM Denso 234-9004 primary o2 sensor and found that amazon.com had the cheapest price for $150 (this was last month). Bought it, got it in 2 days, replaced the primary 02 sensor, erased the code and so far the check engine light never came on...
You can get a universal primary o2 sensor for way cheaper but it's really risky.
