D16Z6 intake gasket that this company makes...they block off the EGR port (who uses that anyways??) and then they block off the coolant port to the intake manifold....sayiny it lowers intake temps...but doesnt coolant flow through the head and intake manifold during warm up??
here is a link to it

the hondata gasket used to block the coolent port also. i think it was optional. or you had the option to cut it out back in the day i dunno if its still like that now.

I saw there kits and so far never saw one where they closed the port....but do you think that it would increase the coolant pressure?? or would it just stay the same? just sounded weird to me thats all...thanks for that info on HONDATA's gasket tho

if its ported with a cheep gasket that dont fit correctly. How dose that help when you put on a gasket that dose fit correctly? Anyway hayabusa160 is right. ON the old hondata gasket you either had it blocked off or you could to cut it out yourself.

the coolant blockoff is the race ONLY setup

for daily driven cars you wanna keep your coolant passages

Here is my A6 head.

Coolant and egr blocked. So I can swap intake manifolds on the dyno and not have to deal with the coolant.

Side coolant port blocked:

Couple hour dyno trash, zero issues
