Icon2 97 civic ex engine swap

i have a 97 civic ex lookiin to engine swap i was thinkin of going with the b18c was wonderin if anyone had advice against that or possibly a better choice i'm kinda partial to the b series, but any oppinion is welcome

Just do it. There is a reason its so popular. K series is overpriced and overrated imo. With the money you save you could slap some nice parts on that b and be happy.

yeah thats the one thing i don't like about it, that its so popular i'd like to have something a lil less popular but i'll still probably go with it

Build the D For the money a swap costs you could have a pretty nice built D, Thats my personal opinion and I like seeing big number out of D's cause there usually the underdogs

Just did a b18c swap in my 97 ex. It was totally worth it even those i had a bunch of **** that was mess up because i bought the car swapped, and the guy hacked it up. I would say k20 but very costy, if you have the money go for it. But you wont be dissapointed with the b18.

depending on how much u have, and what kinda gas mileage u want all fall into play...if u want a fast car i still like the Vitara turbo, i haven't yet heard of anyone having a problem with it...

i'm not to worried with my gas mileage as long as i get more then my 4.3 i'll be happy and ep3drvr what kinda gas mileage you get and wat are you gettin to the wheels

32-38 mpg on average per tank.

tooling around, the motor just sips gas like any other honda... except at the track, when the pedal is down so are my mpg's
