Push or pull Fan & shroud
I currently run my fan as a push due to lack of room in the engine bay... in the upcoming weeks I will be changing my setup around and will be able to fit the fan as a pull… I have read different arguments about what is more beneficial, but I wanted to get opinions from those who have tried it both way to come to a conclusion what provides the best cooling.
Also how beneficial would it be to cut out a shroud from an aluminum sheet for the fan is mounted as a pull. Pictures would be great!
Thanks for all the help!

pull always works better for several reason, numbe rone generally most fans move more cfm as a puller than as a pusher. the fan being on the front of the rad causes a restriction of the natural air flow when your driving.
shrouding the fan makes a HUGE difference when using a puller fan, allows the heat to be pulled out of the whole radiator instead of just where the fan is.
Just an FYI a 14" fan will fit on the half core rad and basically takes up the whole rad so a shroud is not needed. Thats what i run and works perfect even when boosting with the a/c system running in 100 degree heat
