Hey guys I want to rebuild my motor in my db8 gsr, And before I go off buying every thing I want to make sure I know what I need and do the build right, (allreaddy got my h22 blown before) The whole point of this rebuild is that my car is burning a bit of oil, and its due for a timing, water pump ect change. The list i have so far is.
JDM honda oem itr pistons 81.25mm (all new with rings)
new rod bearings, main bearings, and thrust washers
Cometic Head Gasket
ARP Main Studs
ARP Connecting Rod Bolts, should i get these?
Oem acura timing belt and water pump.
Will the stock head be ok with these pistons?
If You know a good place to buy these parts let me know. thanx
What eles can I do to get rid if the oil burning problem? (its not just from vtec) it eats 1 quart per 600 miles.
This is just a daily beater and I dont what a fast monstr out of this build so any info to help me out will be nice.

You might get better responses in the All Motor tech forum.
That much oil consumption could be from a number of things, including piston rings, valve guides and/or guide seals. You would probably do good to replace those valve guides in the head during your rebuild.
Any valvetrain plans? Cams and single-runner IM could help get the most out of those ITR pistons.
