Default Finally a bigger welding table and cart!

well i finally got the time to make a new welding table. if you all remember i made the 1 foot by 2 1/2 table now i made a 62" by 19" for 45$ and made a welding cart really quick cuz i bought a new millermatic 140 with auto set. so i got a good new set up going for me! way happy. there is a 2"x2" tube welded on the under side so its very strong. and did not warp one bit. it works!

nice. i still prefer a nice thick top so you can bolt things down to it such as head/turbo flanges, as well as a vice and grinder. But if it suits your needs, then great! looks good!

Probably a super noob question, but what are the table tops supposed to be made out of? Mild steel?

The table came out nice but I think it is still on the small side. I made mine 60" x 30" and sometimes I wish it could be bigger. I do things as a hobby but it seems like you would like to actually make some money doing this so a much bigger table would work out better for you.

was your table that super small one that was WAY over reinforced? not hating, just trying to remember...cool cart, I like the dual setup, but isnt it kinda poitless to have a cart if the tanks are not on it? Im sure you can add them on later. Im just giving some constructive criticism

I was thinking , you know what you need man is a fold up table, so another top the same size could just be hinged onto that one and fold over to the same size it is now with 2 removable legs. Or even it could just fold up against the wall as like a back sheild

thats a cool table.i have been wanting to build a smaller one for for some time know.i have a 4 foot by 10 foot by 1/2 that i built a few years ago.i used to build alot of hand rails and gates for fancy homes.for the last 4 years all i have been doing is race car chassis and suspension.very small parts and all i really need is somehing like toxic has built here.it would free up alot of space that this old table is taking up.

Nice to see you using the big gas lens Toxic, they are the best things since sliced bread in my opinion.
