Default bogging issue

my car was bogging really badly before at wot....today i put in a 255 fuel pump and for the most part the car runs good now but feels like it not pulling like it should..

the reason i say this is because at 4500-5000 it feels like it starts pulling harder....it feels like vtec(i dont have a vtec engine though)lol

what do you guys think it is

its an ls engine with12.5 compression in a 91 si hatch if that helps any...

Do you have the HP pump? Its a higher pressure than the stock one and you would need an adjustable regulator to bring the pressure down.

My thinking is that I still need more pressure because the pump made the problem better but its still not 100 percent. I'm thinking that I need a fpg so that I van give it just a little more fuel. But you could be rite I'm just guessing. Every one told me that my problem was too my h fuel before too. Who knows, I hate fuel issues.

As mentioned before, get an adjustable FPR. Just sounds like you have to keep it stoich throughout the whole rev range.

what engine do you have exactly? why would it pull in vtec range if it was a non vtec motor??

i have a b18a1 with b18b1 cams and 12.5 to1 compression....
i have no clue as to why it starts to pull hard at that range?

My guess is that it's too rich in low RPM, but as the revs rise the A/F ratio becomes closer to stoich and the engine gains power.
