Icon6 Which is better for brakes?

Got quick question... I know everyone has there own opinion on what brakes are best, but i need to know before i go buy mine. Slotted, Drilled, Diamond Slotted or Drilled & Slotted? What are the benefits of each and the down falls? And no right now i'm not pushing big hp numbers, just lookin for new rotors since i need to replace my stock ones any way.

Slotting and drilling help to cool your rotors but decrease the amount of surface area your pads are pressing against- basicly making your pads smaller. Most shops wont turn slotted or drilled rotors and they cause excessive wear on the pads as well. You should only use these if your application is already warping rotors (your application, not your driving :p) regularly.

Get a good aftermarket pad (i.e. HAWK) and blanks, New fluid and a proper bleed. Those things make a world of difference.
