i have a 94 civic dx hatch and it still has stock motor. i want to get a better one but dont know where to start? i want it to be faster but im not looking for a race car. If anyone has any tips i would much appreciate it.

 

well do you want to swap the motor or do other little stuff and build up to the motor?

i want to swap because its stock 102hp and with my intake and exhaust it still feels like a tugboat.

 

TYPE R SWAP fast and reliable dd.. if u keep it stock that is. lol

 

swap in a Z6 or Y8, cheap and you will feel a diferance, and if you really want, turbo the SOHC.

 

i currently have d16z6 only I/H/E too and also in debate to build it up for just do a quick swap. i think you should try mini me swap and I/h/e. it might be what your looking for but if u dont like that idea, i would do with a ls b18b swap.
