Up for sale is my pride and joy, my 1995 Honda del Sol VTEC. This is the del Sol that came stock with the B16A3, ABS, power steering, air conditioning, and all the trimmings. I purchased this car in November 2005, 100% stock from an older man in Utah. I searched the ENTIRE country looking for a 1995 VTEC model sol that I liked, so I flew out there and bought the car, and drove it back to southern California.

I have done every modification to this car myself; no wrench has been turned on it without my doing so or my supervision. I love this car to death, but unfortunately the time has come to move on, and I can't see this car fitting in with my life to come.

The car has been turbocharged since January 2008, and since then NOT A SINGLE THING has broken on it. As you will see from the modification list, this car was built correctly, built to be fun, and built to be reliable. No, it does not have the most horsepower out of any car on Honda-Tech. I'm not interested in that; I am interested in having a car that is fun to drive on the street. This car makes FULL 13-14psi of boost by 4100rpm... and with a redline of 8300rpm, that means that there is a 4200rpm powerband on full boost. Trust me, this thing is a blast to drive. The most recent victim: a 2008 Porsche 997 Carrera S. The car is a total sleeper; I've never been pulled over in it, (knock on wood) and I've only had 3 people try to race me ever.

The motor was built by Sportcar Motion of San Diego, and has approximately 15,000 miles on it. It is miraculously the ONLY turbo Honda that DOES NOT BURN OIL! This car runs like a champ, and puts down great compression numbers.

The car was originally tuned on 9 psi, where it made approximately 280whp, and 206wtq. The car has since been street tuned on 13-14 psi, where I estimate it makes approximately 330whp. If you don't like my estimation, that's fine, nobody is forcing you to buy this car. Like I said, I built the car to be fun to drive, not to show off what great numbers I can make. I am confident that the horsepower is somewhere in this range though.

Anyway, I have done every modification on this car myself, so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. The car is located in Santa Barbara, CA, approximately 100 miles (an hour and a half) up the coast from Los Angeles. I am however frequently in the Los Angeles area, and if need be, I'll meet up with someone part way to show the vehicle. Of course, no joy riding, and no test drives until I see the cash. Nearly every receipt will be included with the car.

I'll be sad to see her go, but I know that it will make someone else happy. Let's just hope that doesn't involve putting on neons and a body kit.
