Default mini-mi swap HELP

yo...everybody i have a rsx with a k20a3 engine and i was thinking that it was too weak for me but i was thinking about doing a head swap for a k20z3....i think that was suppose to come off of a 2007 civic si, so is it possible to put the k20z3 head on the k20a3 block...???

I'm pretty sure you can't do that. I know for a fact you can swap the k20a2 head (rsx type s) onto the a3 block for significant horsepower gains. The a2 head yields a much higher compression for NA setups.

if you could do the a2 head swap on the a3 block, would you need to do anything more, like can you use the a3 intake manifold or do u have to get the a2 manifold and other stuff that the a3 doesnt have, or would it just go on perfect....sorry for all the questions because i used to drive rear wheel drive cars like the 240sx and all of sudden just got into honda/acura cause the sound and feeling of vtec...even though the i cant really feel it in the a3... or is the k20z1 possible???

with the a2 head(type-s) swap, yes you will need the a2 cams intake manifold and kpro

edit:i also heard even with that you should over run the motor because the block isnt built to handle the head the way a type-s block does

I think you just have to be careful to not over - rev the engine. I could never talk myself into swapping an a2 head, and instead decided to the extra 2000 to just buy the whole motor. If you buy a JDM motor swap, it comes with just about every single thing you need...ecu, 6-speed lsd trans, and all of the minor motor stuff.
