Hey guys i need your help on this.
I have a 97 Integra LS with 167,000 miles.
Should i keep the engine and swap the tranny with a B16 and build up the whole motor with N/A for curcuit.
-OR-
Should i swap it with a H22 and build it all up with N/A for curcuit.
Please help me out with many reply's.

Wow really, a vtec ecu=VTACKKK??? by the sounds of it idk if you even know the 1st thing about swaps. Do a whole hell of A LOT more research before you even attempt a swap. You will save yourself from disaster.

LoL..man I wish all we needed was a Vtec Ecu to have Vtec.
Anyway, if you're going to compare an Ls Vtec to an H22 I agree the H22 will have more performance out of the two motor wise. The only thing I don't like about the H22 is the lazy transmission. Since you're into circuit racing shorter gearing will be a tremendous benefit. I'd go with an H2B set up (H22 paired with a B series tranny, preferably a B16 tranny). That would romp a Built Ls/B20 Vtec, GSR, or Type R all day. Even more so if you build the H22. From my understanding an H2B set up isn't that pricey at all.
If you're concerned about the weight difference. They say its an additional 40-50 Ibs. with the H22 so that isn't bad at all. Just search around and hear what people have to say.
