Default Do I need change ATF at 30K ? on 07 Odyssey

My 07 Odyssey reached 30K and the dealership suggested me to do transmission service.

What would be your suggestion?

A. Leave it alone until it reaches 60K.
B. Drain out and refill new Honda ATF.
C. Have dealership pressurize out all old fluid and refill new Honda ATF.

Tks,
Tony

You could do it two ways, follow the maintenance minder for the service, or do it at the 30k intervals. Its all up to the owner.

drain and fill is just fine for 30k intervals... you can either do a drain and fill now or a flush later...

It's already known that Odyssey have transmission problems. I would let the dealership do C.

That is one thing I would do "more than necessary" or at least right on top of it.

I personally do not recommend the flush. Flushing the transmission breaks free particals stuck in bands which could honestly be helping your transmission. I've seen a flush actually make a transmission inop after a customer complaining of a slipping or banging into gear.

I usually flush them . These have weak and very expensive transmissions .Change the fluid frequently and add an external cooler whether even if you don't paln on towing . I added a cooler change mine way before the recommended interval an have fingers crossed.
