I'm just wondering if anyone knows if an H22 engine with ls trans is a good swap to have in a 00 Honda civic coupe. And if you think this setup is better than an si,,, just wanted some info about an H22 still new to the game and interested in a car I saw that has this setup. If anyone knows anything about this and can help me out i'd appreciate it, thanks.

 

not a bad setup. i'd prefer shorter gears myself.

 

Depends what set up ur going to run turbo or Na is turbo go ls is not go with the si ..... personally I would get a gsr tranny is kid of something in between wont be too slugish running na or way too short like the si if going turbo

 

Keep the SI. Shorter geared tranny is going to accelerate the quickest.

 

Type english or dont post at all you illiterate *........wuuuusaaa....anyways an H22 w/ an ls is not bad at all. A ls trans does have long gears though negatively affecting acceleration. maybe invest in a b16. Or a gsr trans is a good choice if you want more versatality IMO
