Default My Itr rebuild thread "Introducing My Itr #0449"

This is my 2000 Phoenix Yellow Integra Type R. Just a run down of how she got to this point. I purchased the car in the summer of 2007 and this is what she looked like

The car was stolen November 07. Whoever took the car had it for at least 3-4 days because the police notified me that they had found the car a week later. I had my fingers crossed hoping they found it with something left on it. I wasnt so lucky they took almost everything except the block. They decided to throw it in my trunk and messed that up aswell. They even cut my main harness "****ing thieves". This how it was left.

I had a motor laying around and decided to throw it in but ran into some electrical problems due to the harness being cut and decided to rip everything back apart.

So here we go again. Sold the gsr swap and ripped out the dash and the main harness. I ordered one from the dealer which set me back 630 but i know it wont give me any problems. I've decided to tuck my brake lines and maybe the engine bay harness aswell but idk yet. Here are some pics of the progress i've been making

The goal is to get it back to its original state. I have a gsr motor thats at the machine shop getting looked over and cleaned up.

Gsr block 81.5mm
Mahle 9.0.1 pistons
Ge rods
Gsr head
Skunk2 valve train,
Crower stainless steel valves,
Ctr intake cam
Itr exhaust cam
Jg edelbrock intake manifold
Bdl 70mm throttlebody
Aem fuel rail
Aeromotive Fpr

Full-Race Ramhorn
Full-race 3 inch downpipe
Garrett gt4094r .95ar with cooling lines already tapped in the housing
Tial wastegate
Tial bov
Monster intercooler
Aluminum radiator w/ slimfan

What im gonna put on it for now till i find a jdm Itr swap.

My comptech exhaust i picked up for 150.....What a steal.....A friend of mines had it lying in his yard. I asked him what it was off of and he said his old gsr so i had to ask. he wanted 350 and i was like maaaan they went out of business for a reason this ***** cheap I'll give you 150. He agreed to the deal so i walked out of there with a nice exhaust...

Busy day today...Got the main harness from the dealer and installed it. My fittings also came in from summit.Heres a little bit of work my cousin and i did today. Put the bulkheads thru the firewall and ran the new brake lines inside to where i mounted the proportion valve. For fittings i used -3an nuts, -3an sleeves for 3/16 brake line, -3an bulkheads and nuts. For the master cylinder i used 2 90 degree banjo fittings with banjo bolts.

Heres a pic of the work from today.

I must ask.. how many times did it take for you to bend that line to get it 'just right' for the prop valve?

My R is salvaged/theft recovery but it's all back to stock. I gots to have my AC/Powersteerin.

Looking good, keep it up.

Lots of patience and a clothes hanger. I mocked up the hanger to the valve then made the bends by hand...

They denied the claim and left the title clean. Its probably the only reason why im rebuilding her. Hopefully i get her put back together to look somewhat like yours. Your R is my inspiration to building mines.
