is there a writeup for ac removal?
title^
i swear to god the search on the forums is busted. try to search for the term "removal" in titles and it will come up with nothing. while on the other hand just browsing through the archives i found "write up on under dash ac removal"

make sure your car is not in a garage when you vent the system... just unbolt a line from the compressor side, and stay away from it and don't tell neigbors you are doing it. lol
then just take everything AC related out. you will want to take off the front bumper.
if you want to do the whole job, get the tube that goes from the heater blower to the vents off a non-ac car so you can remove the condenser as well.
the stuff in the engine bay is pretty easy to remove.

wow. ridiculously fast replies, thanks. one question about that compressor though, i'm not looking at my car atm, but how do you remove the compressor if the belt goes around it? wouldnt that create a slack?
haha thanks for clearing that up, i just went and looked, and i can honestly say that because they were so close, i always assumed it was one belt
