Default Anyone else installed skunk2's new header?

So has anyone installled it yet? Ive installed mine and its a good fit ( b16a2 in my em1 ) however the header " brace " that bolts to the rear of the block / rear part of the header , does not fit from the b16a2.
Any ideas?
Will it crack the header without the brace, as my exhaust is pretty tight and has no flex.....?

I have installed mine without the same brace without problems. It will be ok, so don't worry about it.

Dont install it. I've come across similar issues and everytime they've been forced to fit it ends up cracking the header.
It's most likely that the header is made for a B18* deck height and since the B16A is shorter it tries to pull up on the header, stressing it, and with heat cycles eventually cracks.

is there an alternative brace? Or are the b18 ones the same as the b16, just obviously the deck height being the difference, rather than the brace itself....

No different hanger. The B16 block is shorter so it lowers the overall height of the head which lowers the height of the header.

Does the exhaust have a flex pipe?

Sure, the test is on a 2.0+L BEAST....but someone has tested this header.

Does this header mount to a stock dimensioned exhaust system? I don't mean the collector size, but the length of the header? I don't want to have to cut my test pipe or exhaust length down to make it fit.

i just clicked this since i've also been looking at this header. is there some reason welding in a flex pipe isn't do-able? i used one of the $25 ebay stainless 2.5" flex pipes when i did the collector mod on my edelbrock over 6 months ago. not a leak one and it prevents the vibration and header cracking.
