I wouldn't call it a US car. EM1s are sold in many different markets.

The popularity of Hondas in the US plus the Honda sites based in the US probably make it seem like they're just about only a US model.

Nice car though. Does yours also have the blue striped seat pattern?

Clean. But the wheels are too big and I'm not feeling the side markers. Other than that though it's nice.

side markers i take it u mean the side repeters? yeah rims are 17's but i get away with it jus imo, would get 16's if i had the choice again but over here we aint blessed with the smooth road u are, espesh where i live.

u wouldn't call the Em1 a USDM style car? i understand that there were only 500 made in the uk, may be wrong though but not sure.

yeah the seat pattern is the blue strips well was i now have blue S2k fronts in it and Dc2 rear bench.

Yeah, he means the small lights on your fenders.

Smaller wheels with a thicker tire would actually drive better than larger wheels with a thinner tire.

No, I wouldn't call the EM1 a USDM style car save for that they're coupes and the US has had a thing for coupes since so many Americans have it in their heads that sedans are family cars and hatchbacks are for hippies and old people.

The EM1 was sold in Europe, Australia, the US and other countries. I actually made a list of some places they were available, but I'd have to look it up again.

I like the blue striped interiors you guys got over there though.

Nice overall BTW but the clear side markers and color matched bezels throw it off. I think the bezels look better gray....just my 2 cents though

the wheels seem to be gettin alot of attention be it good or bad, but its a UK thing i think big rims low profile rubber thats how things work over here, well in most cases anyway, been looking into Euroin' the coupe, 16" BBS RS (or similar) decked even more... but again it all boils down to been able to use the car as a daily runer...

Mint over on CC also had the OG climate control design. My understanding is that much of Europe continued using it past 1998.

This could mean the '99-'00 US climate control swap could be sought after over there, but shipping cost could be an issue.

I like the look of the 99-00 better personally. I prefer the ease of the ***** over the sliders.

Edit: I do like the ashtray setup though. Wonder if thats still available for my car?
