Okay guys I usually just look on threads here and dont post much as you can see but I have a GSR that I've been planning on building a little. I've collected short air intake, skunk2 intake manifold and ordered a fuel rail. But my question is: if i get some skunk2 stage 1 cams, what size throttlebody do I need for the intake manifold, what size injectors do I need?

And should I get a fuel pump with fuel regulator?

I dont think I need to upgrade the valvetrain or anything, but any tips and advice would go a long way. Thanks.

 

Things you need:

1. A CLUE
2. An idea of what you want to use your car for
3. INITIATIVE to find some BASIC information on what works/doesn't work with Hondas
4. Use that initiative to gain a bit of a rudimentary knowledge so you can ask a halfway educated question.

Go get those things....come back when you have them and can ask an educated question

Dude you've got a long way to go if you wanna be near 200....with what you mentioned youll be lucky to get 155whp.......try looking around on other threads theres a lot of info floating around, do it before you start buying parts so you dont buy useless parts

True to that. I hope he wants to make it at the wheels though. Yeah 200 is not easy, but it's also not too hard if you know what work and what does not LOL.. But it sure does cost money..

 

throw the fuel rail in the bin. for 200whp you dont really need it, and 200 @ flywheel you defo dont.
So rc310 injectors or perhaps a little smaller, with an adjustable fpr would be an idea.

It might be a good idea to upgrade valvetrain, especially if your going to run bigger cams and with those cams you will probably want to run more rpm... so....

oh and a lighter pulley and flywheel would be a nice start

 

bore to 81.5
get some high compression pistons
pro 1 cams
super tech valves
proseries valve springs and gears
all new gaskets and seals

to make 200 whp its pretty much a all-out rebuild. the only real way to make 200 with bolt ons is a turbo haha

 

Yes this most likely will put you in the 200whp range. But you don't need to bore over that would just be a waste. I've made 211whp on stock bore and Honda pistons

i made exactly 200whp with my stock bore/stroke gsr, send your engine to me along with a cashiers check for 5k

 

i used a wishbone.

Dude all you need is a 75 shot of NOS and you will be in the 200HP range...lol

 

If you pay for airfare and lodging, I will come out and fart into your intake tube. That should bring you to at least 200. I can't guarantee I wont shart at least once though.
