Default NEED HELP WiRING OBD1 TO OBD2

I got a 1995 Acura integra LS non-vtec which is obd1. But im going to swap a type r motor which is obd2. And i want to use the obd2 ECU from the type r
My theory was this: Use a jumper which converts OBD1 to OBD2, if i do this is there going to be 2 plugs that aren't connected on the obd1 side which is to used wire vtec/oil pressure. and just connect the two wires for vtec. is this correct or is there a better way to do this... any help will do.
thanks!

id just stay obd1 wire up vtec. get a p28 or po6 or p72 and have it chiped .put any program u want on it. this way you dont have to wire up the sec o2 crank sen at the pulley a knock sen if you dont want too and you can change the redline fuel cruve.

x2

The only way to keep it obd2 and keep it clean is really to get an obd2 harness

agreed. You would have to wire up several sensors in order to keep the CEL off. IMO it's not worth the hassle.

well I have never seen a conversion harness that goes obd1 - obd2 only the other way around but if the plugs will go in backwards then try it.

I still say you should get the complete obd2 harness for the car you can get one at any junk yard and any civic si del sol si or integra from 96-2000 harness will work.

they dont make a jumper from obd1 to 2, get hondata and do it right, convert the distributor wiring on the harness side, so you can use the 0bd2 dizzy and run wires for knock if you want, vtec pressure, and vtec selenoid. Use your harness, dont get one from a junk yard. sell your obd2 ecu and save up for the hondata....if you want to make any "real" power. just my 2 cents

As he stated previously he wants to keep the original ecu... so the only logical way to do this and do it correctly is to get an obd2 harness out of a donar car.
