Will a '00 Si B16 wire up the same way a first gen B16 wires up to a 90 Si harness. I know I can get a good cable tranny to fit the new B16... I just wondering about the electronic differences between the 1st and 2nd gen B16's going into a EF (Si)

 

pretty much the same, from what i understand

 

youll have to use all obd0 electronics on it....so youll need to change injectors for sure

 

If you use the OBD-0,you will have to change the injectors or have them rewired without the resistor box.
The distributor will have to be change from a 1 gen B16 or from a 'Teg 90-91 with one leg cut.
I dunno about the O2 sensor,but it is a 4 wire,so it will have to be rewired.

You could chip the stock Si ecu or use a PW0-PR3 ecu.

 

Would it be possible to use a '00 Si harness and '00 ECU and completely remove the old 90 SI harness and ECU? Will a '00 Si harness match up to the fuse boxes and sub harnesses in the old 90 Si?

 

harness plugs are totally different...youll have to change all the wiring if wanting to use the '00 wiring harness..even the underdash harness..
