Guys, is the ITR pump even a different number?

 

all three pumps are the same thing

i actually ordered an oil pump from honda for a 99 SI last night and the part number was p72xxxx, so yes its a GSR pump

 

just to make sure you know what im talking about 1st Gen B16A not 99 si, i dont know if there's any difference but just want to be clear b16a not CTR, GSR, or ITR

 

are you purchasing a new oil pump?

 

Not necessarily, Im getting a jdm b16 and im compiling a list of parts that i want to replace right off the bat, various gaskets, water pump, timing belt ect, just looking to make it a bit more reliable or what ever, but the oil pump was only if the GSR, ITR or CTR one was better than the stock B16 one

 

hmmmmmmmmmmm im not sure if the older b16 pumps are different.....

 

obd1 pumps have different part numbers than obd2s so a 96 delsol vtec and 99-00 civic Si have the exact same pump
