Default Help with battery relocation

Ok well i want to do a battery relocation, but i am still confused about it. I have a 91 civic std with a ls swap. I am going to be running 0 gauge power wire, and like 4 gauge ground. I have a duralast gold battery. I wanted to run the power wire straight to the battery, and ground the wire somewhere in the trunk, but i hear u need a fuse in between. Do you really need one? Also how do u connect the power wire from the engine bay, do i cut the old terminal or do i keep the old terminal so i can add the 9 gauge, and as for the starter, what do u do with that wire, just connect the same wire, and leave it? Can someone give me pics on how they did theres like how u wired it, where u did it, the starter wire, etc. And for a battery box does that battery need one, i was just going to brace down the battery.

No need for 0 gauge wire if you have a good ground. But if you want to spend the extra money and add extra weight, go for it. 4 gauge is big enough to do the job.
