When it starts up, you can hear a ticking/bogging sound and whisling sound of the intake. when you step on the gas, its sounds like bog bog bog bog bog( in first gear and second gear mainly) instead of smooth quite rev. I think i have a bad throw out bearing but that should not cause that sound right???

what can the ticking/bogging sound be? any suggestions? I want to hear some insight before I go to a mechanic knowing nothing and being overcharged for something I dont need.
