ok so it's like midnight ish and the remote start hadn't worked - i find out when i get to the car - so the car is still freezing cold. i roll out of the parking lot and into the street and try and shift into 1, but it's like physically hard to push it through, to a point where you wonder if you should really push any harder. like i mean im trying hard and it's not engaging into 1st.
Same thing with 2nd. 3rd. and 4th. 5th and Reverse all impossible to shift to.
so i'm looking online and i find this http://www.justanswer.com/questions/18g ... ord-manual
so what du guys think it is? im scared.

So, is the car running in neutral with the clutch pressed in?
Or are you trying to shift it with the car off?
How does the clutch pedal feel?
Does it have pressure and return when you take your foot off it?
Possibilities from the top of my head
>Clutch hydraulic (Low fluid, Bad Master, Slave Cylinder, Leak, Air in System) Try Bleeding
>Clutch itself could be shot (Burnt disc, Broken Pressure Plate, Bad/Broken Fork)
>Transmission linkage problem
>Low or completely gone manual transmission fluid (Check Fluid Level)
>Toasted Tranny (Not likely)

ok so clutch is shot. now for some solutions.
the car: 1992 accord w/ h22a and h22a headers.
a prelude clutch would make sense here, as that one is rated for the power that this engine has - stop me if im wrong tho - but my mech and i dont quite kno what flywheel we're mating the clutch to. as i bought this car used, i didnt get every detail, but im to assume that every part on here is an Accord part w/ the exception of the motor and headers.
so if that's the case then i would have to find a clutch to match w/ the stock accord flywheel? am i better off getting a prelude flywheel for the clutch to mate to? or will it really make much difference?
now my real tough question that only some may answer is, how can i be sure what flywheel it is i'm working w/? any spec sheets/internet links w/ all this sort of info on it?

i got an exedy stage one clutch (civic) and pressure plate. my tranny started not to shift in either gears. i took the tranny out. no problems with the clutch at all. the problem was a fractured fork. it had a nasty crack in it. it looked as if it was going to break in half. i do drive aggressive most of the time. good luck with it man.
