Looks good. Did you have to replace the whole pedal assembly when installing?

 

nope... just remove the plastic pieces and got the drill out... for the cruise install (~80% done) I did have to remove the gas pedal.... not a fun time at all.

 

You replace the rubber covers and drill; feel very solid, but are slippery as hell when it's wet

The pic showing the floormat got me thinking. My 98 has the altewrnating stripe floormats- blacl and gray. Did the 97's have these as well and the 00 and 01 have all black. But I could have sworn my friends 00 PY Type R has the same floormats mine does. Any thoughts?

 

97-00 Have the same floormats. 01 is the only year with the all black.

That's weird. I would have thought your clutch pedal would be worn the most since you press that to the floor the most often.

damn i wanted those pedals but i couldnt find them anywhere so i went with mugen... and also they are discontinued

 

at least for that long, maybe longer...
