who writes the best basemap.
well i thought the same thing... but i took my car in to a shop and they tried to make a base map and it took them like 2 hours to do that... and it still sucked.... and after the tune the car ran like **** at lower RPMS... i ordered a base map from xenocron and according to my Wideband the base map is better than my shitty tune from a local tuner.... so i say get a good base map and then drive it to the tuner.......

Talk to your tuner. And as long as you have everything that they recommend for tuning you should be good to go.
If your car ran like shyte after your tune, I would suggest you go to a better tuner.
Most tuners will clear the base maps that roll in and start fresh with there own anyway.

Basemaps shouldn't be that complicated... it's just about quickly setting things up to your car's specifics. Tweak the injector offsets, compensate for engine displacement, add the usual plugins, then you're at least driving.
But same as everyone else said... if your tuner can't make a runnable basemap in 2 hours then go to another tuner.
