Default Vtec hole in block? oil hole help (pic)



Is that the hole? is this one blocked? reason I ask is because my block has it and all last year we couldnt find out why vtec doesnt work, any help is deeply appreciated thanks.

That is not an oil passage. The head does not even cover that spot

Alright so does anyone know where the oil passage is for vtec? I as looking to get the motor together today but I'm not going to do it untill i know there not blocked.

That is not a VTEC block. You'll need to re route oil on the outside like an LS VTEC. What head are you using?
