obd1 vtec or non vtec??

Default obd1 vtec or non vtec??

Im about to buy an obd1 harness but not complete,im only getting the part that is on the right shock tower and plugs up to the ecu,the guy says its of a vtec motor which is what i need but is there a way of identifying this how can i tell if its truly vtec????

If both wires are there for vtec then its a vtec harness (or any '92 underdash harness) wire colors on the cabin side of the shock tower plugs are orange white for vtec solenoid (goes to pin A4 at the ECU) and orange blue for vtec pressure switch (goes to pin D6 at the ECU) Just so you are aware that specific harness goes all the way under the dash and out through the firewall, it branches off about a foot before the shock tower plugs and continues on up to the passenger's side headlight and horn, all in one piece.
