Default dpfi to obd1

i bought a 89 civic dx sedan pics up soon. i converted the d15b2 to obd1. changed the intake manifold to a y8 and installed a t3t4 57 trim turbo. i order the etd traction bar and swaped the radiator to a eg. I'm planing on swapping the d16z6 i just bought after i re ring the motor. i started the car and it runns ok but the idle dropps below 200rpm. i still havnt installed the o2 sensor. and am using a po5 ecu. i plan on having the ecu converted to a p28 and chipped. does any one know y the idle falls so low. also is does the charcole cannister have to be connected.

did you rewire for the mpfi? if not then you are running on 2 of 4 cylinders.
o and that p05 shouldnt even run your mpfi motor. espesially since you say its obd1.

the p05 is obd1, will work fine, have you adjusted the idle yet? is the y8 manifold a auto or manual?
