Default TPS trouble....

this has been bugging me for a while. my car was a duel point injector till been swap for a b18 about 6 years ago. This is the problem, when the car idle, you can touch/move the tps wires around and it will idle up then drop back down and idle up again repeatly. then when i leave the house put i in 1 gear and give it some gas, for a split second there no throttle response then bam instance throttle response. that happen sometime form first to second gear. then last if i cruise around town or when im on the interstate, when i slow down then give it some gas for that 1/2 a sec nothing then it will go. my car is turbo but this been happen before i boost. also when i cruise on the highway on i boost gauge in vac, the needle goes up and down. i hope yall can tell me what's going on.........thanks.

check your tps plug and make sure the pins aren't loose or touching eachother, change your tps sensor.

sounds like loose connectors to me. Use a set of needle nose pliers to carefully pinch them and tighten them a bit. If that doesn't help, run new wires and a new plug before you replace the tps. (It's quicker and easier, and since the wires seem to be what's giving you the trouble.....)

Also, have you looked to be sure your tps isn't loose on the throttle body? Maybe the calibration is wandering.
