i have an d16y7 on my ef9 90 dx converted to fuel injection.it was carb before.now it has an obd0 engine harness with obd0 dizzy and ecu but i noticed it has obd2 injectors i guess they pre wired into od0 harness.so my question is if i have to change injectors?.also having some problem with timing.also when getting an maintenance on car do i have to get the spark plugs for this engine or could i just use the civic si 1.6 spark plugs?.i got this car with this swap and having a hard time triying to make it run right.another problem that it has is that it idles and feels like it wants to turn off but im guessing its the timing.also after driving the car or a bit it starts spuddering after certain speed. IF ANY ONE COULD HELP ME OUT WOULD APPRECIATE THANKS

 

if your running a injector box then yes get obd0 injectors, if there is no injector box then i can only assume its wired up correct. you can use si plugs but there probably the same for the y7, what intake manifold are you using?

 

how do i find out what type i yhave on it ?and by injector box do u mean resistor box?or is that something else?
