Default RHD Em2?

I've got a few civics, and I've ALWAYS wanted to have one that is RHD. I really want to turn My 2001 Coupe into a rhd car. Where could I look to find a front clip? I would be doing all the labor myself as I am an auto body technician. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Wobs

The EM2 was never made for the Japanese market, so you're looking at either importing a clip from Europe (only 600 RHD EM2's were made) which will be quite costly, or importing an ES1 or an ES2 (01-05 Sedan) front clip from Japan and making it work. You're looking at spending over $5,000 in just parts without labor.

I've only seen a couple RHD EM2's, but neither of them were in North America.

I'm just wondering about the RHD switch. I'm definitely doing the K swap!

That's all the information you really need. You've been told where you need to get it. Once you do, how are you going to do the conversion? Cut the front of your car off and weld the front clip on?

If in fact I could find all the pieces, the swap wouldn't be a quick thing but it would be fairly "easy" for me. I do this kind of stuff on a daily basis, but instead of switching them to RHD I'm just replacing parts... I have access to a spot weld machine that makes OEM quality welds and would make quick work of it. The old fire wall and inner structure of the engine bay would have to be removed and then re installed...

Just make sure this is what you really want. You're going to spend half of what the car is worth just to spend several months in the garage, so you can drive on the other side of the car.
