honda civic halo headlights
I have a 99 civic hatchback and I just installed halo headlights. But I can’t get the halos to light up I tried wiring it in to my signal lights with the green, red and black wire but non of them will work what iam I doing wrong?
well somethings not wired right, do you have a wiring diagram. go back over everything. and run the ground to a spot on the chassis rather than to another ground wire. btw dont expect the halo's to last long, ebay stuff sucks. but if your good at soldering you can replace the leds in them.
no I dont have a wiring diagram. The halo lights dont have a ground wire well I dont think they do. It only has to red wires I think each one is for each halo in the head light.
wire them to the parking lights....
i did that on my old 95 coupe & it worked fine. just splice into it.
& yeah, the halo's wont last long, if from ebay....mine lasted about 6 months

Generally I agree, but I have some eBay projector housings (I know, most people would consider it rice) with halogen bulbs and OEM side markers. They work well and I kinda like the way it looks. For generally aesthetic things, why can't we make an exception to the "OEM is best" rule we've all seemingly adopted?
Because unfortunately...... the "OEM IS BEST" statement is true no matter what one tends to do.
I have nothing against halos.....just not my taste anymore. Cuz i know many of us back in the days were all into the Bodykits, altezza's etc.
Me personally i fixed one of my cars that way. But after i put on that WING, after a couple of months i took it off and regret making the wholes on my trunk cuz i wanted to make my 4dr ferio style now. But you live and you learn.

wire halos to a toggle switch ($1.99 at walmart) that way you turn them on when you want them not on all the time and you can get 2 years from them
I had halos on a coupe for two years. sold the car and they still worked
