Default valve keeper question

I have been looking for the information for a few days now about oem replacement valve keepers and I found they are 7 degree bead lock type keepers be it a D series or B series.

I am wondering if the D series valve keepers are indeed the same as the B. People are tossing complete non vtec heads to the curb as if they are trash so why not see if it is possible if I can use D series valve locks. Do you all think they can be the same?

Use the late model hardened keepers.
