T4 Twin Scroll Collector
I have received a few PM's and messages in regards to twin scroll/divided inlet collectors for T4 turbochargers, wondering how to make a true T4 divided collector. Well, I started working on the manifold for one of our shop's race cars today. We are using the Borg Warner S372R turbo, with twin TiAL gates. So far I only have the collector built, I took a few photos to share with all of you. I hope these help give you ideas. Im curious to see other T4 collectors anyone else has built, post them up if you have them!

I can't imagine people having a hard time with these divided collectors cause they're cake versus a 4-1. I agree...I think you just wanted to be a show off.
The welds on that collector are really nice! That's some very clean work!
I have made a few, I basically make two 2-1's, then cut them at a slight angle, then crush them so they fit the opening, then weld ...
edit : Removed pics, don't wanna high jack!

Agtronic- That is exactly how I made it also, thanks for the post pics. RC000E-You're right, a 4-1 is much more difficult, but for most it is also much more common to build. I wanted to show something that is not an everyday piece. Honda_junk- 309L filler flange to pipe, 308L pipe to pipe
i wish i still had pics to post of mine but when i made my collector for my divided mani i made it just like a 4-1 but actually welded in a flat divider to separate the two sides. the way you guys have done it looks good and should work fine also, but i think with a divider between them, the two sides fit the holes in the flange a little better.

Look at Agtronic with his little photo booth...hahahaha
DisEpyon- yes, 3/32 filler for the flange to pipe, 1/16 for the pipe to pipe, and in some of the reallly tight spots, .035 308L filler. JDMCRX- major tungsten extension
Got Wide- I've actually done that too, I had it all mocked up but I wasn't happy with the way it fit together versus this type, but I didn't spend much time on it. That's awesome someone else did that too! hahaha

I'm running a Weldcraft CS310 water-cooled torch (this one)

on my Miller, off a foot control. I'm tied to the weld table and want to get out and under stuff.
What would you recommend for a torch and trigger to get away from the table. There's so much stuff out there, that frankly, I'm not sure what to get. Do you have a favorite or a "go to" torch you find yourself using more often?
Any help appreciated.
