Default my ukdm r

I've added a few more pics of my UKDM R onto

http://www.simonskemp.btinternet.co.uk

I should be adding more soon. I'm trying to gather pictures of R's in interesting places rather than just my R on my driveway etc. however this involves asking my girlfriend to stand at the side of the road while I drive past which can take a little persuasion

Not specifically of integra's (he says looking out of the window to check his R is still there !) just habit

I should say Integra Type-R's as we dont get GSR's etc. in the UK !

Most ITR's over here will be fitted with an insurance approved alarm and auto arming imobilizer on top of the factor imobilizer. Which makes life a little harder however.. This has made the underworld start car jacking - and stealing keys from inside peoples houses ! A colleage had his car stolen by somone taking the keys with a cane through his letter box!!! My keys stay in my pocket !

Impreza's are quite bad for being stolen there are loads of them around and you can fit alot of swag in the back !

I'm not sure I think I've got a close up picture of them - I'll post later on

"The U.K. cars come with this wooden boot (trunk) floor panel. USDM cars feature a subfloor constructed of a lightweight plastic honeycomb material.
"

DutchITR - does your car have this wooden floor. I was thinking of replacing mine with somthing lighter .......

Yeah, I have the wooden one. I wonder why it's there. Maybe it's for the weight distribution? = more weight to the rear?

It could be to quieten things down. I put a wooden floor in my old car (corsa a) that made a huge difference to the noise from the exhaust.

I think I'll get rid of mine along with the spare when my rear strut bar arrives. I'll strap my little sub box to the bar and the removal of the wheel/cover etc. should make up for adding the sub to the car
