Icon6 my first build

whats up. this is my first engine build for my 89 crx dx thats got over 210k on it now and still running great besides buring oil. let me tell u a bit about myself.... im brandon and just turned 21. i used to be a mechanic at a local shop for about 2 years but quit for other opportunities. fixing cars is what it is, but im into performance so oem everything wasnt gonna cut it for me. im still lookin for a job now (any shops lookin for people pm me please, its either that or chipotle, which is actually awesome.) ive had the car for 2+ years now and havnt done much except for the usual (i,h,e, upgraded clutch, fidanza 7.5 flywheel, mpfi swap, wheels, stuff like that. I wanted to get a new motor and couldnt decide a d or a b, because if i got the b it would be all motor. but i wanted boost!! so i went with the d. i picked up a complete d16z6 engine, trans, wiring harness, and various parts fom some dude off craigslist for 200. it was in good shape but the only thing i was worried about was the block being junk or the trans w/ bad gears or diff (ill show you a pic laterr of the diff......depressing) i only have one pic of the engine and everything before i tore it down, but ill shut up and get to the build......

oh and sorry if the overall presentation is shitty, i dont know how to post pics w/ texts in them haha

this is after i got the block back from the machine shop. bored .020 over, hot tanked and checked. pretty resonable deal too. 200 for all, if n e one need machine work i can give u a name for a good place to go to.

self port matched intake manifold all painted. sexy time woo

75.5mm cp pistons, rings, wrist pins and a sweet sticker.

eagle h beam rods w/ 2000 arp bolts

and the neon green valve cover. didnt come out too bad compared to the chipping wrinkle paint on before

Good stuff, what kind of numbers are you shooting for on this build? Im loving the green cover/pan too. And I don't know what part of Florida you came to but around here there's too many crx's to count haha.
