Default 91 crx engine/automatic tranny swap

Heyo everyone

Ok cousin has a 91 crx dx auto. She loves the car but wants it to be a little quicker and DOES NOT want a 5spd. Shes not looking for big performance or racing, just quciker peppy funner. I was planning on dropping a zc and 5spd in it but she said she will have none of it heh. Oh well, question is what engines can be swapped into this car that will match the dx auto tranny???? Also what other engine/auto tranny combos could i swap into this crx???? Much thanks guys for any info, cheers

Thanks for the info guy. Ok so going with a dohc ZC, now other than wiring it for the dpfi to mpfi, what about the ecu???? Was going to go with the jdm si or the 88-89 integra ecu but, wouldnt those only be correct if we had a 5speed tranny?
