reamoving scratches from windows
what is the best way to remove fine scratches/scratches from windows?
on my front windshield i have alot of fine scratches that i would like to get rid of. on my rear window i have a deep scratch, not real deep or anything though, that runs about half way down the middle of the window.
i would really appreciate any help/info on how remove these scratches! also any glass polish products that would work for this that anyone recommends?
thanks!

glass is a bitch man. they sell kits to do this but its quite expensive. you could also search online for companies that will do it for you. thats expensive too. im assuming this is for your prelude so im gonna reccomend getting the windshield replaced if its that big of a deal. i had mine done for $330 with a new molding. the back window is about an 800 job. but i did mine myself for 250. all i did was buy the molding for 100 bucks, a window for 75 at the junk yard and 20 for the glue and like 10 or 15 for these nasty clamp on suction cups to place the window.
thanks fav!
im looking for something on the cheap side for right now though. i dont want to replace any windows until im ready to paint my car.
anyone else??

Your best option is purchase window polish.
go to your local detailing shop they should have a 2 stage kit for polishing windows. not cheap , usually in the $ 30-60 range. But works great with fine scratches and imperfections.

yeah i live not too far from carlise and i go to alot of their shows and i remember seeing a vendor that sold a glass restoration kit. i know you live in western pa so if carlise isnt too far you should go to one of the shows. mostly one of the big ones like the corvettes or ford or spring or fall opener and closer. i think the kit was 150 bucks?
headlight polish wont work. its made for plastic, and glass is one of the top hardest minerals on earth.
