oil burning?
Howdy folks, I've got a 2001 civic LX that runs great but needs a qt of oil every 2 weeks. It doesn't smoke at any point of usage and it doesn't leak oil. However I have noticed a build up of oil around the cylinder head. And if I leave the vent open I get the smell of oil burning, or at least cooking from the engine. Could it be that simple as to simply change the head gasket or should I look at replacing the rings. Do O2 sensors have anything to do with increased oil consumption? Thanks for any info.
