Default Quick ECU Question

I've got a b16 in my 93 GS-R still being run by the factory P61 ECU.
I'm swapping an ODB2 B18C into my car, I'm assuming it would be best to get a 94-95 GS-R P72?

A friend has a P06 and he's saying I can chip that with a GS-R base map and still have the motor running good.

Opinions?

the 94-95 p72 is obd1, also do you have the wiring in place for everything on the motor? like the correct harness?

The P06 can be chipped to work with VTEC and the IABs, or like the others said if you want stock use the OBD1 P72

What do you mean?
My car is an ODB1 GS-R. Other then the dizzy, injector clips and alt on the ODB2 engine everything is the same.

Since it's a long block I will be swapping my alt and I have a new dizzy. Injector clips aren't an issue either.
