Okay so my boy hooks up my head unit to my coupe following the wiring diagram. After we hook the radio up we turn the key and it doesn't get power at all. i changed every fuse that was bad on the car and got stuff working that i thought was broken and the radio still doesnt get power. can anyone help me out i need some ideas, with out a radio in my car is boring as hell.

Btw, its a alpine headunit to my 95' Ej1 ex.

 

Did you check the back-up power fuse in the engine bay fuse box, probably a 7.5A, it will be the HUs constant power, [yellow lead on Alpine HU]? 94

 

yehh every fuse is fine. i changed every bad fuse.

 

does it not get power or not turn on? maybe bad ground?

 

gets no power cuz i had the head unit in my bubble.

 

is there a fuse on the back of the radio?? typically theres a 15a fuse..check that to see if its blown...ok my question is how did you wire the radio in? did you use a harness adapter or just hardwired it in???

 

Did you check if you are getting power for both the constant and switch wire to the radio harness by using a multimeter?

 

it was a fuse in the engine bay, i changed them but it blew again. i changed it and it started working. thanks everyone for the help.
