What size Rim is Best for DA9?
I was wondering what size rim (I'm planning to purchase some ROTA Track R's) and tires should i get for my DA9 and im planning on lowering the DA as well im just not sure what size rim to get or what size tires i should throw on as well as how much of a drop should if give the baby, any advise?
personal preference. buy what you like. the lighter you make the combo the better. when people suggest 15's 16s etc. it's not that they are naturally faster. it's just easier to get a light combo than when you use 17s.
well its all in ur opinon cuz almost every honda i see has 15' rotas and me personally i dont like having something that i see on another car... so ur gonna have to decide
Personally I like the look of 15's on DA's - I have a set of 15's that only really look good lowered, a set of 16's that would look far better lowered, and a set of 17's that seem out of place with how large they are on such a small car..
I'd rock 15's or 16's if you plan on going lower - but you should be able to get lower with 15's and not rub as much..

get some good coils and adjust them a few times, take some steps back and see what you like. personally i love slammmmmmed. but depending on driving conditions around, it might not work for you
Rim size is all personal preference. 17s can seem big, but when lowered they can look good. I have fat fives and stock 14s for my GSR. Both look pretty good when low. Get the rims you want and don't sweat what people on this site think. My brother is on 17s and it looks good.
I have 16" TRS rims on my DA with 205/40R16 tires. They look really good with my drop and fill up the wheel well without looking too big. They're lighter than the stock wheels too.
IMO 15s can look good, 16's do look good, and 17's are pushing it. As long as you go with a lower profile tire with the bigger rims you should be able to maintain a stock overall wheel diameter.

i have 17's on my da and i think it looks nice. i have the front raised up for the winter but when all snow is over its getting almost slammed and i love the look of it. if i could figure out how to right click i would post pics.

16x8 with 0 offset haha
but for real, it all comes down to preference... Most say a 16x7" or a 15x7" will give the cleanest look..

That Integra is whored out all over the internet, all though it's probably the cleanest da9 I've ever seen.. They look like Sportmax Wheels to me. If your into the whole deep dish look, find a rim company that offers low offset sizing. Sportmax is huge on that. Be prepared to sacrifice some suspension/handling characteristics. Some wheels need some modification for the fitment to actually work as well.
WRONG. The best 15" tire sizes for Integras are 195/55-15 and 205/50-15, and neither can be mounted safely on a 15x8 wheel. 195/55-15 can be mounted safely on wheels 5.5-7.0 inches wide, and 205/50-15 on 5.5-7.5, so stick to those wheel sizes. If you have 15x8 wheels, you'll need to get 225/45-15 tires (and you may need to roll your fenders); that setup is okay for track or autocross use, but not really suitable for the street (due to tire availability issues).
just go with the 16x7 Track r's with 195 45 16's and it should look fine, personally i have 15x8 and 195/50/15's on my da and it looks fine but as nsxtasy said, thats not safe...
