OEM ep3 midpipe with greddy evo2 axleback
so i bought a greddy evo2 catback, used, from this mechanic that did all the welding himself because the catback didn't come specifically made for the ep. and when i ride, the mid pipe vibrates and hits the undercarriage numerous times making an annoying popping sound. so i was wondering since the OEM mid pipe isn't that big, width wise, if i can switch out the the greddy midpipe for the OEM. any suggestions?
Oh haha I didn't notice you were a Washingtonian lol. Anyway, I actually made mine. I bought the pipe for 50 bucks and I gave my friend 50 bucks to borrow his welder because he was broke and I helped him out and my welder was out of action. I do know its about $100 because I got a quote from Midas. So I guess check out Midas and maybe they can help you, or a local muffler shop like Bucky's etc.
You going to the meet tomorrow in Seattle at Golden Gardens?

Oh and yes I have my stock muffler. I have DCRH to my 2.25in mid-pipe with a cherry bomb resonator to help with the rasp and then my stock muffler. I love how it sounds cold or at low RPM's. Once I hit like 4k RPM's it gets pretty raspy, all my friends love it but I wish it were a little cleaner sounding.
Oh haha, if you do go to a muffler shop make sure they cut and weld either your old flanges or new ones so they don't weld it all into on piece. It might be extra but it's worth it later if you decide to get a new exhaust.
