Icon2 Question on a TPS

Hey guys, how's it going?

Do any of you know reputable sites to buy an aftermarket TPS (throttle positioning sensor) at? I'd rather replace the sensor, than the whole throttle body, seeing how i'm only having problems with the sensor.

The only site i've looked at is OmniPowerUSA.com But i'm not too sure about them. Any ideas?

Ebay for the BLOX sensor. I bought it. My car runs great, but I do get a code for the TPS. It was $19, I believe.

Oh, your car runs good? Because I've read that if your vehicle throws a TPS CEL, it throws your Vtec into limp mode. Does this happen to you, even after the replaced TPS?

VTEC works fine, I idle at 800rpms, power is there. Only problem is the CEL.

spend the 2 bucks and take one off at a junk yard. unless you don't have those there. its small enough that you can just put it in your pocket.

Yeah, that's what I was originally planning. But the only problem is, is that I don't have the tool to remove it. Such as a tool that makes a groove into the bolt so you can remove it with a flat head, for example.

On another note, wouldn't I be able to pull one off an EX and be just fine?

Oh yeah, johhny. Once you replaced your TPS, did any of your other problems come back? Such as slow response, surging throttle, ect?

I have never driven this engine with the original TPS. I broke the sensor while installing the engine.
