help!!! ITR STUD
hey i just broke my stud last week and i've been looking for a stud to fix it..however the honda dealer here sucks... and they can't even tell me a single thing.. other than to look at a picture and tell them what i want.. when the picture doesn't even show the stud i would like to buy.. i was wondering if the stud of which the spark plug cover nut screws onto is the same stud as the 4 studs that hold the valve cover down.. in other words.. i broke the stud on my spark plug cover and discovered that there are 2 nuts that share one stud.. one nut to hold down the valve i assume? and the other nut to hold down the spark plug cover.. PLEASE let me know asap if they are the same stud or different stud and if you know, could u tell me the name of it or part number so i can order it asap.. Also i would like to know what the gasket part number is for that nut b/c it seems mine broke is oil is leaking from the screw.. THANKS ALL!!!
Part number is: 90014-PR3-000
List price is about $5.35 each
That's for a 2000 ITR, but should be the same for other years I'd guess.
And no, it's not the same as the other studs (part number: 90012-PM7-000). The 90014-PR3 part is longer to allow the spark plug cover to be attached.
edit: oh yeah, the head cover washer is part number: 90442-P73-J00, about $3.07 list per washer.

BTW, it may not be a bad idea to replace all the gaskets (the 8 washers, 4 spark plug hole gaskets and valve cover gasket), the P/N for the whole set is 12030-P73-000 in case you just want to replace them all.
