Default How a Four-Stroke Engine Works

In an effort to help constantly educate newer customers that come into this market, Skunk2 is going to be launching a series of tech videos throughout the year to help these newer enthusiasts build a better base foundation of knowledge to understand their cars and engines more. While a lot of you may already be familiar with how an engine works, and even how to degree cams, there are always new crops of enthusiasts who come into this board and sport looking for info to learn. And while some people here are more than helpful and open to providing answers (as long as the search function was used of course), there are also a lot of supposed 'tech experts' that simply blast people calling them terms like "newbie" which doesnt really help pave the way to keep this industry going. So, instead of coming out right away and making a thorough tech video on degreeing cams, we figured it would be good to start with the basics first, so that even the new enthusiast who may not really understand the inner workings of an engine can build a better base of knowledge.

The next video will cover degreeing cams. Stay tuned

Here's the video...

The degree wheel looks to be about 27° off.

I'm over analytical...

If I was an exhaust valve, I might scream everytime I saw that piston chasing me up into my seat!

Well then how did they get your email address? You don't want spam, don't give out your email address. I'm pretty sure that there is a more tactful way of removing your name from a mailing list. Guess this is the way of today and the internet generation. Call them out on a public forum. Why not have the spine and common decency to contact them directly? or you could use the link at the bottom of the emails to have yourself removed from there list...lol

I guess your probably right. Now that you mention it, this is probably where they got mine as well. I used the link at the bottom of the emails to unsubscribe and haven't received another since.

Awesome. Is it possible in the next sets of videos that you can pause the video and still see the screen instead of the other videos on your website?

During some of the 4-stroke action there was a lot of text on the right side and it was gone quickly and I had to hit the scroll on the bottom several times in order to read what you were saying.
