what would happen?
What would happen if i put an si tranny, head, and ECU on my motor?...i have the D15B7 i think or the B6 i forget, would i gain power or lose it, or would nothing happen would i need to use the si harness?
Well you would need to find out which motor is it. the d15b7 is an obd1 dx motor and d15b6 is the CRX HF motor.
I have an Si trans on my HF motor it gives it a good extra kick in the pants because of the short gears. If you have the HF motor d15b6, the Si head has double the valves that an HF has. 8 valve vs 16 valve so you will definatly make some power swapping the heads.
If you have the d15b7 motor swapped a Si head won't net you much if any at all. You would have to find out how big the combustion chambers are for both and see if it will end up raising compression or lowering it.

i have the hf so the B6, what all do i need in order to swap the heads...cause i really want to do this and i have i guy parting out 7 crx's that i get my parts for cheap so can you or someone make a list of everything i would need in order to swap the heads, and tranny is just a direct bolt right?, thanks in advance
transmission would make a great improvement by itself
but the **** will still be slow. unless you can get the parts for dirt-*** cheap AND do the work yourself i wouldn't waste my time.

if you get the transmission you'll need clutch, flywheel, hubs, axles from an Si, they don't fit the HF.
just grab a full d16a6 and a pm6 ecu, it plugs right into the hf harness.

yea i was told i would need that stuff aswell, ill have to ask, and see how much more...it does come with tranny...one motor has 150k and its been sitting for 9 months, the other has 212k and was well maintained and is clean, BUT the guy i bought my rex off of has a full GSR swap for 400 but the way my car was when i picked it up i dont trust the motor, and its got like 70k and its been sitting for 6 months
